Oppo launched their latest series "F-series" new lineup in January, and Oppo F1 debut was the victim. All phones that are included in this series will have some sort of unique features that include a camera, and what better way to start the series of selfie-centric smartphone?

In terms of build and design, Oppo F1 is a class act. Metal chassis looks and feels very premium and we liked the fact that, around 134g, it's very light. This phone fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, with a comfortable grip and buttons are ergonomically placed. Volume rocker and power button are placed on opposite sides and have a good tactile feedback
In front, we have a 5-inch HD IPS display that produces vivid color when used indoors, but tend to appear washed out in the sun. Smaller screens around the edges so that a smooth transition from glass to metal, and we even had 4 Corning Gorilla Glass for added strength. No notification LED on the top right corner, and capacitive buttons at the bottom for navigation, which unfortunately is not backlit.
The main camera on the Oppo F1 has a 13-megapixel sensor and an aperture of f / 2.2, with a single LED flash. The speaker grille is placed at the bottom. There is also a 2500mAh battery is non-removable. F1 Oppo is available in Gold and Rose Gold, but the front facia will be white in both cases. We have no complaints whatsoever when it comes to the physical aspect of the phone, such as the Oppo has done a wonderful job of putting it all together. Hopefully the brightness level of the screen is a little higher for better visibility outdoors in daylight, and backlighting for navigation buttons will not hurt either. In the box, you get the standard 5W charger, silicon case, headset, and some of the instruction book. The quality of the supplied accessories either, except for a headset that feels cheap.
Specifications and software
Oppo F1 is one of the few first mobile phone on the market with 616 Snapdragon processor. This octa-core SoC from Qualcomm is almost identical to the now-common 615 Snapdragon processor, but runs at a clock speed slightly higher. Precisely, it is a low-power Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.2GHz instead of 1GHz at 615.
